Civilisation

I'm back from my holiday, which seems to have gone rather quickly, but at least I have one more working day off work :) In case anyone was actually interested in what I have been up to, I've been to my parents, been on a course in that London, been clubbing in Stafford (everyone has to try it once!), seen my gorgeous nephew, had my first driving lesson in over four years, and watched (thanks to my dad) lots of horse racing. At least when the folks went to bed I could watch Sky (for that read I watched the music channels!)

What has been going on in York since I've been away, a murder and a stabbing in a couple of days?

Of course, the great John Peel has died. I know a lot of people have said it, but he really will be a great loss.

Now back to my beer, as I'm allowed to drink properly again as my dad is a good 200 miles away!
